Here We Go!

Here we go, off on our jouney. We began with a trip to lush Pennsylvania to visit family. Our week was filled with family time, a wedding, and dog-sitting. Our families were thrilled to see us. As we flew to Pa, we had a lay over in Washington, DC. When we got on our flight to Pittsburgh, our fight got delayed and delayed. We sat on the runway for about two hours before they told us our flight was cancelled. We were in the very last row on this VERY hot plane, right next to the stinky bathroom. As soon as we thought we were heading back to the gate, a huge storm hit with thunder and lightning. As soon as the storm passed, we were on our way to Pittsburgh. It was a crazy and long flight, when in a car it probably only takes 3 hours! If that is the worst of our flights and it came first, I will be happy! Anyway, the wedding was perfect, except for the EXTREMELY hot weather. All the different aspects went right as planned. Becky & Rich had no clue that I had planned a dance for the girls and I to do as a part of my toast. Josh gave a great blessing and everyone had a fantastic time. We got to see alot of family while we were home. This included lots of Val's family and lots of Josh's family. We had time to visit some of our nieces, Emily and Olivia and nephew, Joey. We missed out on Ian because he was sleeping. The end of our trip included some bonding time with Val's sister, Heather's, new dog. His name is Bradshaw and he is a Cocker Spaniel and Poodle mix. He was alot of fun and he had lots of energy. We left for London on Monday afternoon and got to London on Tuesday morning. I'll let Josh tell you about London!
